Poly Fest 2019!!

Have you ever been to Polyfest?.  Have you ever wondered what Polyfest is like?.  Well you are about to find out……..

Polyfest happens every single year.  It has a lot of beautiful cultures performances, speeches, and other fun stuff.  Polyfest is a competition and people work on their performances for months.  Over 10,00 people turn up to Polyfest to watch cultures perform.  The most known cultures are, Samoa, Tonga, Maori,  Cook Island,  Niue, and Fiji.  There are lots of cultures to look at, and every single culture is special. 


Polyfest is at Manukau Sports bowl, and i’m telling you where Polyfest is has a very big space for stages.  There are a lot of stages, food stands, and a lot of free stuff.  Polyfest is New Zealand’s big festival and it has happened for years.

Statement:How to be a good student.

Explanation

You can always be a good student by listening, being respectful, and being helpful.  If you be on the right task and listen to your teacher, you can get good marks.

For example.  If you just arrived to school, you can help by putting the chairs down, putting your bag and shoes away neatly, and to mabe ask your teacher for more jobs you can do.

Come home safe

Recount/explain in sequence(in order) Finanga’s tragic story.

In 2005, morning of May 10, Finanga was working with his coworker Esera.  They were loading up concrete slabs. As soon as they finished, they started to load up 20 panels of concrete.  But the last panel, the 20th panel, snapped, and landed on Finanga.  He was calling out for Esera, but there was not response.

When the ambulance arrived Finanga’s first question was “where’s my mate”, they said he’s alright and that he was worse.  By the time he was in hospital, Finanga’s cousin came.  He was the first person to come.  When Finanga’s cousin came, he told Finanga that Esera passed away.  It was a sad, sad feeling. Esera Vivesio 1967-2005.  He sadly passed away when he was 28.



           Story 2
In 2002 Isaac had savielly crushed his right hand.  His brother(Joseph parker's dad) had witnessed the incident.  There were rolling mills, where you guide the steel bar in.  Isaac had thought he put on the wrong set of gloves.  He rolled in the steel bars, while he was rolling in the steel bar, Isaac’s glove got caught in the Rolling mills.  His brother ran to the scene, and on the other side was his brother’s right arm, crushed and covered with blood.  Now Isaac has a prosthetic arm, and it’s a little harder to work with it.  Now he is doing a 2 hands man job, 2 MAN HAND JOB, with one prosthetic arm.  He is a good working hard man.


Why is this film called “ come home safely “.
It’s called that for a reason, and the reason is for people who working for jobs like that, make sure to wear the right gear, make sure to not take dangerous risks, and look after yourself while you are at work.  Also, it means to come home without any injuries.

“Mr Sunisville how many of us is going to camp lake rock?”.

“Well it depends on the permission slips, with in the parents decision ”. “So far we only got 6 permission slips back”, said Mr Sunisvile. Camp Lake Rock is on Saturday and it’s the second week of school!!. Camp goes for 1 week, so it goes to Sunday to next week Friday.

Beep, Beep, Beep!!. “Stupid alarm clock!!, why can’t you just shut up!!”. Sam finally gets out of bed. “ Uhhh, fine, what time is it, 8:22!!, what i’m late for school!!. Sam gets ready as fast as he can and runs out of the door with his breakfast in his hand and toothbrush on the other hand. Sam finally realised that tomorrow was his big day!!. Camp was tomorrow.

He walked in class and his teacher asked”How come you are late?”. Sam had did not respond. His teacher asked again, “ Why are you late?”. “ my cat died”. Sam closed his eyes. “ did he buy?,did he buy?”. Nope. Even though it was Saturday he still had to come school. It was weird that today is Saturday and there is school. He had to come to school for the camp meeting.
