Task Description:

This task is related to my other task Water Sustainability.  Have you heard about TIC.  It stands for Title, Introduction, and Conclusion.  This task also talks about water and it explains how you can save it!.

Plastic fantastic!

 

Task Description:

This task is based on plastic fantastic.  Plastic fantastic is a book and the link to the book is in my presentation.  In this task, I was talking about how plastic can affect our environment.  Plastic can be a big threat to our world and we need to start changing things.  Plastic bags, plastic straws, and plastic cups should be gone.  We should replace plastic bags with paper bags and fabric bags, and plastic straws with paper straws, and plastic cups with paper straws.  Make sure to participate in my little quiz at the end of my presentation!.  Make sure to stick around the end for my create task!.

Task Description:

  For this task, my teacher made a presentation about fractions and decimals.  This presentation was kind of like a test to see how well we remembered our fractions and decimals. (When I mean we I mean my class).  My favourite part about this task was the first activity since it was easy.  

What is a Biosphere?

Task Description:

Today my class is learning about the Earths spheres.  The main sphere we are learning about is the biosphere.  The biosphere contains living things like grass, animals, trees, and many more!.  First I had to watch a video explaining what the 4 spheres are.  The 4 spheres are the geosphere, the biosphere, the hydrosphere and the atmosphere.  After I watched the video I had to explain what I know, what I want to know, and what I learnt from the video.  I had to watch another video that explains each sphere/biome.  On the last slide I had to choose a biome.  Either a desert, forest, ocean, or arctic biome.  I chose the forest biome.  I had to explain what are the physical features and what are the living things in that biome.

Te Whare Tapa Wha: Taha Whanau

Task description: For this learning task I had to explain a game I played during lockdown.  I had to explain who I played with, and I had to explain the rules of the game.  I played with my brother on a online.  Basically I explained the how to play, who I played with, and how much fun I had.  What games did you play during lockdown? who did you play with?

Day 4: Individual Pursuits

Task Description:  For this task I had to watch to videos about Serena and Venus Williams.  I had to write down 3 facts I learned from each videos.

Zebra Fish

Task description:  Did you know that zebra fish has the exact same organs as humans? the only thing we can do is reproduce our pancreas, but zebra fish can.  Zebra fish can be up to 4-5 cm, its very small!!.
