Understanding Decimals

Task Description:

This task was just a warm up!.  This is a decimat!.  If you don't know what that is watch the video.  What I had to do was sort out the decimals.  For example:  0.64.  There are 6 tenths, 4 hundredths, and 0 thousands.  I had colour in the tenths yellow, the hundredths in orange, and the thousandths in red.

What is a Perimeter?

Task description: For today's assignment I had to work on Perimeter.   All you have to do is plus each side of the shape.  It was challenging, but still fun.

 WALT: write about a supported opinion.

Task Description: This is why we should stay in school. I put in my opinion, and my reason why we shouldn't finish school early.

GIANT Mystery

Task Description:  I read a article about a GIANT Mystery, I had to drag out facts from the article and write the fact in my own words.  I also had to put my opinion on that fact to see if my opinion was related to that fact.

Harry's war

Task Description: Last week I read a story about Harry's war.  It was about how Harry and his military friends got shipped to England to have a war against them.  The war was over but they had now way of getting home.  They were so bored they carved a chalk kiwi on the hill.
